Experimental design
Definition: The design of an experiment involves planning a set of procedures to examine a scientific hypothesis in terms of the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Thereby, the independent variable(s) is/are manipulated and effects on the dependent variable(s) are assessed (i.e., measured).
