Light Intensity

Definition: Light intensity is the radiant power received by a surface per unit area, due to illumination, or the radiant power received per unit solid angle. Radiant power is the energy received per unit time. SI units for light intensity are watt per meter squared (W/m^2) or watt per steradian (W/sr).
